Half of What You Know About Everything is Wrong

One of my favorite books of all time is The Half-Life of Facts by Samuel Arbesman. It's about how so much of what we once considered scientific fact is eventually debunked, and why so much of what we now consider to be fact faced a backlash from the scientific community. It changed how I think about the world more than almost any other book.
