Google's (GOOG 0.37%) (GOOGL 0.35%) ultra-fast Internet, Google Fiber, is only available in a few select cities right now, but the company is in the process of expanding the service across the country and expects to add many more cities in the near future.

As Google expands into new territories, the competition is taking notice and lowering prices to compete with Fiber. Verizon Communications, Time Warner Cable, and Comcast have all lowered their highest tier Internet prices to more closely match Fiber's $70 price tag, and users can expect more of the same as Google expands its service.
