This week Google (GOOG 0.74%) (GOOGL 0.55%)announced it'll bring free, high-speed Wi-Fi to 400 railway stations across India. The company says it's the country's largest public Wi-Fi project ever, and by the end of next year 100 stations will provide 10 million people with Internet access.
