The stock market just finished an up-and-down kind of week. The major indexes took a quick dip early in the week but ended up on a modestly positive note; The charts showed gains between 0.4% and 1% between Monday morning and Friday night.
But some tech stocks missed that mildly rosy finished and plunged by double-digit percentages instead.
This is their story.
Remote healthcare operator Teladoc (TDOC +0.02%) lost a major customer on Friday, immediately triggering a 19.5% loss for the week. Cloud-based security and storage vendor Barracuda Networks (NYSE: CUDA) published a pretty decent quarterly report on Tuesday, but weak forward guidance led to a 29% haircut. And specialized communications infrastructure vendor Comtech Telecommunications (CMTL 0.01%) plunged 18.5% because of a downright disappointing fourth-quarter report.
