While Google (GOOG -1.96%) (GOOGL -1.97%) makes the majority of its revenue from ad sales, the company has its own brand of Nexus smartphones that showcase the best of the company's Android operating system -- and Google's latest event did just that.

The company debuted the new aluminum-body, 5.7-inch Nexus 6P smartphone, and its very capable, but lower-spec sibling: the 5.2-inch 5X. Both devices run on Google's latest Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system and have new fingerprint identity sensors, dubbed "Nexus Imprint."

Google also unveiled an updated version of its Chromecast streaming dongle, as well as the new Pixel C Android tablet. Click on the video below to find out more about Google's big event.
