With another CES in the books, who were the big winners at the world's largest consumer technology show?

Our crack team of Motley Fool analysts, Rex Moore and Eric Bleeker, took in all the sights in Las Vegas and came away with several companies to keep an eye on in the automotive and wearables sectors.

In automotive, a new electric car start-up called Faraday Future is billing itself as the Tesla (TSLA 12.06%) killer... but if anything, its efforts only validate the Tesla model. BMW also impressed for the third consecutive year with more advances in the self-driving space, while NXP Semiconductor (NXPI 4.18%) is dominating in most every electronic category within the car.

And one company that never attends CES was a big winner: Apple (AAPL 1.27%). From auto makers to smart home systems, there were dozens of companies tying their technology to the Apple Watch platform. Meanwhile, Google Glass -- once poised to make great strides in the consumer sector -- had its program shut down and nary a Glass was seen in Vegas.
