Is content king, or does the throne sit alone? Opinions vary on CNET Networks (Nasdaq: CNET ) . The online empire has attracted optimists even as the shares sit in the single digits. It also has its detractors, who feel that the company deserves to be neglected after backing itself into a shadowy corner.

I know where I stand. I'm this week's bull. I have also recommended shares to Rule Breakers growth stock newsletter subscribers. Industry vet Tom Taulli doesn't see it my way. He's this week's bear.

We can both agree that virtual real estate matters. Now that you have companies like Google (Nasdaq: GOOG ) and IAC/InterActiveCorp's (Nasdaq: IACI ) Ask.com selling paid-search ads, eyeballs matter again. However, just because you have eyeballs, that doesn't mean that you have CNET.
