2007 is shaping up to be an exciting year for the technology sector, with Microsoft's (Nasdaq: MSFT ) new Vista operating system newly out and Apple's (Nasdaq: AAPL ) long-awaited iPhone on the way. The Sony (NYSE: SNE ) PS3 and Nintendo Wii are now competing with Mr. Softy's Xbox 360 in the video-gaming world. Cell-phone manufacturers have made their products smaller while they've packed in more features and better battery life.
In short, it's a great time for geeks like us to be alive.
