Last time, renewable-fuels firms were shining like the sun at the Equator in August. Get your SPF 45 and shades, Fool; they're still burning bright. Six of the top 10 industries from the past 30 days are involved in green energy.

Impressive, no? I'll say. If not for gaming firms such as International Game Technology (NYSE: IGT ) and Giant Interactive (NYSE: GA ) , this week's top six would have been dominated by ethanol and solar specialists.
