On Feb. 5, Nuance Communications (Nasdaq: NUAN ) , which makes an embedded speech application, released first-quarter earnings for the period ended Dec. 31.
- Revenues rose by more than 75% due to growth across all the major segments and acquisitions made last year.
- Although the company did not include a cash flow statement in the release, it did note that cash from operations for the quarter was about $26 million, compared with $27 million in last year's quarter.
