Welcome back to another Foolish review of the coldest stocks as ranked by Motley Fool CAPS. We're looking at the three worst-performing industries over the past 30 days and your favorite short and long candidates in each.

Last week, homebuilders and residential construction firms brought up the rear of our cast of lovable losers. This time, they're the first and second of the worst, with homebuilders down 16.8% since late May and residential construction companies down 14.5% over the same period.

And in third? Table for one, please. Dine-in restaurants are making investors sick, down 10.2% as a group over the last 30 days.
