Welcome back to another Foolish review of the coldest stocks, as ranked by Motley Fool CAPS. We're looking at the three worst-performing industries over the past 30 days, and your favorite short and long candidates in each.

Last time, sporting stocks like Bally Total Fitness (NYSE:BFT) led the laggards, but not this week. Like the elusive aliens from The X-Files, they're out there ... somewhere.

Oh, wait. There they are, languishing in the third spot. As a group, they're down 6.1% over the past 30 days.

But that slump can't match the music stores. More off-key than a Sanjaya Malakar-William Hung duet, stocks in this sector are the best of the worst this week; as a group, they're down 10.9% over the past 30 days.

Stuck in the middle are the fuel cell makers. Hydrogen hasn't paid off for these hypesters, which, as a group, are down 7.4% over the past 30 days.

According to you, our Foolish readers, the worst stocks in these industries to own now -- i .e., those rated one or two out of a maximum five stars in CAPS -- are:
