Fool Video: Obama's Pick for Treasury Secretary

President-elect Obama convened his economic advisors today. It's a group that includes Google's (Nasdaq: GOOG) Eric Schmidt, Berkshire Hathaway's (NYSE: BRK-B) Warren Buffett, and former Treasury Secretary Lawrence Summers. One of the big questions for the group: Who should Obama pick as Treasury Secretary? Should JPMorgan Chase (NYSE: JPM) CEO Jamie Dimon get the nod? Should Obama go with someone new or stick with current Treasury Secretary and former Goldman Sachs (NYSE: GS) CEO Hank Paulson? In this installment of "Fool Video," Motley Fool analysts Bill Mann and Tim Hanson talk about the next Treasury Secretary.

JPM wrote about $ 1 trillion of credit default swaps. Dimon HAD to buy Bear Stearns to avoid paying off on many of these. JPM did duck the bullet. But JPM did no eschew the craziness!

agree with your comments 100%. Fool completely missed it on this one, Dimon a big campaign contributor and completely a central figure in this write down mess. Geitner is even worse for his assumption that Lehman wouldnt matter. its on record
