Buy a luxury retailer right now? Dayana Yochim says it's time investors did just that. To see her thoughts on Coach, watch the video and then read on below:

Yochim says that the "new normal" of how consumers spend their money is misunderstood. She says people are spending differently, looking for quality and value. In addition, Yochim has been impressed with Coach's leadership across the economic downtown.

Yochim likes the company's international expansion opportunities and believes Coach has good opportunities in both China and Korea. Coach is trading at the high end of its 52-week range, which makes it more expensive than niche high-end jean providers like Joe's Jeans (Nasdaq: JOEZ), but cheaper than struggling mall brands like Abercrombie & Fitch (NYSE: ANF). Still, Yochim says at today's prices Coach is a nice, timeless staple to have in your portfolio.
