Did you know that Motley Fool Co-Founder and Chief Rule Breaker David Gardner has been moonlighting as a special "Business Development Attache" to The Walt Disney Company (NYSE: DIS) CEO Bob Iger?

Well, it's true! Sort of.

The relationship started years ago, after David recommended that members of his Motley Fool Stock Advisor service buy shares of Pixar -- which they profited handsomely from. Tipped off to what was happening at Pixar, Iger decided to buy the gem of a company and add it to Disney's crown. That move turned a share of Pixar into 2.3 shares of Disney, and made a lot of Fools very happy.

Then, in 2009, following multiple buy recommendations for Marvel that dated back to 2002, Iger showed he was listening to David again, swooping in to acquire the comic-book company that had been a 14-bagger for Stock Advisor members.

Now, David has another acquisition deal for Iger to consider: Discovery Communications (Nasdaq: DISCA)(Nasdaq: DISCB)(Nasdaq: DISCK). In this video, he whispers in the Disney chief's ear about the extraordinary Discovery brand and its expanding family of education, adventure, and nature television networks. Check out why David believes Discovery's knack for storytelling -- and profitability -- should appeal to the guys wearing mouse ears.
