Netflix (NFLX 1.91%) plans to launch its popular streaming service in the Netherlands later this year, although no official date has been released.
Netflix said in a press release today that upon launch, broadband Internet users in the Netherlands can subscribe to Netflix and instantly watch Hollywood, local and global TV series and films, including Netflix originals, on tablets, phones, TVs, game consoles, and computers.
People interested in signing up as Netflix members in the Netherlands can sign up to be notified when the service launches. The company has yet to release details on which streaming and mobile devices will be supported, or how much the monthly suscription plan will cost.
