Every day, the sun rises on Wall Street, and a plethora of professional analysts wake to issue new opinions on stocks. Here at the Fool, we use our "This Just In" column to examine some of these picks -- and the track record of the firms behind them -- so individuals can make better investing decisions.

In addition to following professional banks, anyone can use Motley Fool CAPS to monitor the collective opinions of more than 110,000 members, many of whom demonstrate better investing insight than published analysts do.

With the increasing admiration CAPS members have shown for ReneSola (NYSE:SOL) over the past six months, the Chinese alternative energy company has been steadily upgraded all the way from a two-star rating to a top-of-the-class five stars. With 558 members rating ReneSola, there's plenty of analysis and commentary explaining the recent optimism.

After a rocky IPO on the U.S. market earlier this year, shares of ReneSola have experienced the volatility typical of solar-related stocks. On the good side, demand for ReneSola's wafers from customers such as Suntech Power (NYSE:STP), JA Solar (NASDAQ:JASO), and Solarfun Power (NASDAQ:SOLF) helped first-quarter revenue jump 242% from a year ago to $123 million and net income increase 160% to $17.7 million.

To help mitigate the huge rise in raw materials costs that ReneSola and competitors like LDK Solar (NYSE:LDK) face, ReneSola managed to lower its silicon consumption for the first quarter, which helped boost margins. But with Trina Solar (NYSE:TSL) canceling its own polysilicon supply plans, the silicon squeeze appears to be waning as new supply comes on line. And though demand has remained strong, some investors weren't thrilled about the heavy spending at ReneSola, and the stock was punished following news of a new offering of 8.6 million shares.

Even with the drawbacks, the increase in production coming from the expansion makes many investors, including 98% of the CAPS members rating ReneSola, bullish on its future.

To see what the very best in CAPS are saying now about RenaSola -- as well as other winning stocks they are picking -- head on over to CAPS and have a look.
