In 1997, The Motley Fool created a monster. Visiting the Gardner Brothers' quirky little band of investors to learn how to manage his retirement fund, David Meier (TMFHumbleServant) soon realized being a part-time investor, full-time engineer wasn't going to cut it. After earning his MBA in 2002 and cutting his investing teeth as a "value investor," he jumped at the chance to work for The Motley Fool in 2005 and hasn't looked back. David is currently an Associate Advisor on Million Dollar Portfolio. The "Trends and Trades" portfolio will combine top-down and bottom-up research to find the best opportunities. After all, great investments come in all shapes and sizes.
