A potential emerging Rule Maker has been spotted on our Gorilla Game discussion board. This past Friday, Foolish analyst John Del Vecchio (TMF Fuzz) put together a fantastic Rule Maker analysis of network storage equipment company Brocade Communications (Nasdaq: BRCD). The stock is up almost 10x in value over the past year, and the company's market cap is $17 billion. A steep valuation to be sure, but as John demonstrates, Brocade passes every single one of our 11 Rule Maker Criteria with flying colors. Today's report serves only to whisk you off to John's analysis, which is far more deserving of your attention than anything I could have said in this space.

First, some quick background. Brocade deals in Fibre Channel switching solutions for storage area networks (SANs). If you're like me, and that last sentence just came through as "blah blah blah," then you'll especially appreciate John's take on the company, as he's our resident specialist in the storage equipment industry. John covers such companies as EMC Corp. (NYSE: EMC) and Oracle (Nasdaq: ORCL) for Fool Research.

Without further ado, here's John's take on Brocade.

Fool on!
