Tyler Crowe: I think that a carbon tax or some monetization of the carbon cycle is going to be a reality of how we think about the future of energy. As a result, I want to look at carbon capture technology. Now, there's not a lot of great options here, but one possible option is going to merge with a SPAC coming up here. It's called LanzaTech and is currently trading under the pre-SPAC name, AMCI Acquisition Corp (AMCI). The ticker is A-M-C-I. The idea here is that they have created a synthetic bacteria that can take CO2 from a wide range of things. From emissions, from waste facilities, from industrial facilities, biomass degradation, anything like that and they can convert CO2 methane into usable plastics. They make some of the base change for what we call PET, P-E-T, which is a fundamental thing that you see in almost any plastic container these days. They're also looking to do a jet fuel. I don't know about jet fuel. That seems like a long shot. But the idea, for me, is taking something that has either been a cost or could be a potential regulatory cost and turning into a monetization thing and I think that's an incredibly powerful tool that could be possible. Whether LanzaTech is the company that does it, I'm not 100% certain. Reading their tech specs, it seems to be somewhat viable. They have a leadership team that came out of Honeywell's (HON 0.17%) UOP, which was catalysts for the oil and gas refining. There is some scientific leadership there and we're not just looking like some puffy smoke PhD came out of nowhere in the past two years that might just be selling us a song. There are some ideas there. Whether their financials, it's a SPAC. You might as well just throw those out in the trash because you never know with SPAC valuations and financials. But it looks like it has a change and considering the lack of options currently in carbon capture, it's something I want to take a look at. I've initiated a small position recently. It's a very small position because I just want to keep track of it. It's not like I'm pitching my horse to this thing.
