This week is shaping up to be a big one for Wall Street, with the Federal Reserve set to decide on its latest course of action. Another round of quantitative easing looks extremely likely, but the scope and extent to which it will affect the market is anyone's guess.

End-of-week trading has been reflective of this skittishness, with a lot of start-and-stop that generally went nowhere. Until investors know how much cash the Fed will be pumping back into the market, stocks will just be treading water.

Also on the horizon for the upcoming week is a slew of earnings reports set to roll in to reveal how companies are really holding up. All of this means that things could get a little volatile -- and investors are already bracing themselves for a bumpy ride.

On the bright side, volatility also brings with it not only risk, but also tremendous opportunity -- if you know where to look for it. To cover your backside, try to find stocks that could surprise to the upside when their earnings are made public.

How do you find these companies? It's a tough task -- but as a starting point, see what insider execs think about the stock prices of the companies that employ them. They've got the intel we outsiders don't, so it's always a good idea to pay attention to their trades.

Here's a list of eight companies reporting earnings this week. All of these stocks have seen insider buying over recent weeks. (Click here to access free, interactive tools to analyze these investing ideas.)
