EPS came in at $0.54. The 11 earnings estimates compiled by S&P Capital IQ anticipated $0.68 per share. GAAP EPS of $0.54 for Q3 were 5.9% higher than the prior-year quarter's $0.51 per share.

For the quarter, gross margin was 28.7%, 160 basis points better than the prior-year quarter. Operating margin was 12.4%, 90 basis points better than the prior-year quarter. Net margin was 6.9%, 60 basis points better than the prior-year quarter.
Next quarter's average estimate for revenue is $870.0 million. On the bottom line, the average EPS estimate is $1.20.
Next year's average estimate for revenue is $2.89 billion. The average EPS estimate is $2.64.
The stock has a four-star rating (out of five) at Motley Fool CAPS, with 243 members out of 252 rating the stock outperform, and nine members rating it underperform.
