Yongye International (NASDAQ: YONG) has delayed the filing of its 10-K. The company said it notified the Securities and Exchange Commission of the postponement, which it says is due to "delays in compiling certain information required relating to accounts receivable and related allowance for doubtful accounts," for its 2012 results.

Yongye said it expects to submit the 10-K by April 2, and reschedule its planned earnings conference call around that date. The specifics of the conference call and earnings release are to be provided "at the appropriate time."

After the announcement was made, the company's shares closed down nearly 3%, or $0.16, on the day, to $5.32.
