Professional networker LinkedIn (LNKD +0.00%) has more than doubled so far this year as the company transitions to mobile usage and its membership base continues to grow. All three primary business segments are executing admirably, and LinkedIn's monetization strategy is far more sustainable than other players in social media, such as Yelp (YELP +1.18%).
The social spin in recruiting is disrupting the fragmented market, and the company has countless opportunities as it expands internationally. LinkedIn fetches a premium valuation right now at 21 times sales, but it's easily warranted.
