The battle lines have been drawn in the world of PC chips, and the conflict's not necessarily Intel (NASDAQ:INTC) against rival Advanced Micro Devices (NYSE:AMD). For Intel, the real battle is to win back Wall Street's confidence.

Intel's shares have shed a third of their value over the past year, and the once no-brainer growth stock is starting to turn heads in value-investing camps -- even the Fool's. Around here, the chip giant was recommended to Motley Fool Inside Value subscribers four months ago.

Is the company poised to bounce back, or will the hard times continue? Not all Fools agree. Chuck Saletta is bullish about Intel's valuation, while Ryan Fuhrmann believes the company's anemic growth makes other stocks more attractive at this point.
