The Owner's Rewards Card by M1 highlights
M1 Finance is an investment app and platform with no asset management fees. Users can create customized portfolios and focus on their long-term investing goals.
The Owner's Rewards Card by M1 is for M1 Plus members. This membership, which offers extra incentives through M1 Finance, costs $125 per year, but at this time, the first year of membership is free. M1 Plus members who apply and get approved for the card will not pay a separate annual fee for their credit card, but if a cardholder decides to downgrade their M1 Plus membership, they will be charged an annual card fee of $95.
With the Owner's Rewards Card by M1, cardmembers will earn cash back rewards when shopping with select brands that they invest in. You'll have to own at least $0.01 of a fractional share with a particular eligible company to earn cash back on purchases. Cash back rates vary but range from 2.5% to 10%.
All cash back earnings will be deposited into your investment portfolio. Cardholders can choose to automatically reinvest their rewards into their portfolio or withdraw their earnings.
This sleek metal card, expected to be released later this year, will include Visa Signature benefits and offer contactless and mobile payment capabilities.
