If you've watched any network TV in the past few months, you've probably heard this slogan. It's the crux of a TV campaign from Berkshire Hathaway's
The cameras weren't rolling when longtime Fool Tony Miller (a.k.a. TMF 2Aruba) recently fielded a call in the middle of teaching a class. The call wasn't from GEICO, either, but the message was identical: You've saved a bundle on your car insurance. The amount? A cool $757.
So what company is offering such great savings on car insurance? Perhaps it's your own insurer.
More than a year ago we alerted readers to the credit score-insurance rate connection. Past credit blunders were affecting the premiums consumers paid for insurance coverage. The practice punished customers with pristine driving records but less-than-perfect credit scores.
