Travelers can earn rewards on their travel purchases, score free access to airport lounges, and redeem rewards in various ways. But that's not all this card has to offer. Find out which lesser-known Chase Sapphire Reserve® perks you may be missing.
1. Luxury hotel perks when booking at participating properties
This card is for you if you prefer a more luxurious travel experience. When using your Chase Sapphire Reserve® to book at properties that are part of The Luxury Hotel & Resort Collection, you could score some freebies that make your stay more memorable.

2. Extended warranty coverage
You may not realize that you get extended warranty benefits with this card. This benefit extends the warranty coverage by one additional year on eligible warranties of three years or less. Coverage is limited to the original purchase price, minus shipping and handling charges, with a maximum of $10,000 per claim and a maximum of $50,000 per account. You can feel confident when making expensive purchases knowing you have this coverage.
3. Earn 10 points per $1 on hotels and car rentals booked through Chase
With this credit card, all cardholders earn 3 points per $1 spent on travel purchases. However, if you book hotel or car rental reservations through the Chase Travel portal, you'll earn a total of 10 points per $1 on eligible purchases. This is an easy way to earn points more quickly so you can get closer to your rewards goals.
4. Rental car privileges
If you need to book a rental car for an upcoming trip, this card can help you score valuable rental car privileges such as upgrades and car rental discounts. Chase partners with National Car Rental, Avis, and Silvercar. You can use these benefits by joining the loyalty programs for these brands and then using your card to book a rental car.
5. Return protection
This credit card also offers return protection. If you use your Chase Sapphire Reserve® to buy a covered item and are unsatisfied, return protection perks may help you get reimbursed for your purchase.
If you're disappointed in your purchase and the retailer won't allow you to return it for a refund, exchange, or credit, you can file a return protection claim within 90 days of purchase. This benefit provides reimbursement for up to $500 per item of personal property with an annual maximum benefit of $1,000 per account.
6. Earn 5x points on flights booked through Chase
As mentioned earlier, you'll earn 3 points for every $1 spent on flights when paying with your Chase Sapphire Reserve®. But when you book flights through the Chase Ultimate Rewards travel portal, you'll earn a total of 5 points per $1 on flight purchases. This could help you rack up points faster so you can make an award redemption sooner.
7. Purchase protection
The Chase Sapphire Reserve® also includes purchase protection. This benefit protects against theft, damage, or involuntary and accidental parting of an eligible new retail purchase within 120 days of the purchase date.
If eligible, you can make a claim for repairs, replacement, or reimbursement. Coverage is available up to the total purchase price, with a maximum per-item benefit of $10,000 and an annual maximum benefit of $50,000 per account.
