Despite their popularity, UPS and FedEx just haven't delivered for investors. Old Dominion Freight Lines has.

Despite strong recent performance by FedEx (FDX 1.37%) stock, and what may look like a good opportunity to buy United Parcel Service (UPS 2.26%) on the dip, neither has a very good long-term history of shareholder returns. In this video, Motley Fool contributors Jason Hall and Tyler Crowe break down why that's been the case, and explain why Old Dominion Freight Line (ODFL 2.34%) has been a much better investment.
