Despite their popularity, UPS and FedEx just haven't delivered for investors. Old Dominion Freight Lines has.

Despite strong recent performance by FedEx (FDX 0.12%) stock, and what may look like a good opportunity to buy United Parcel Service (UPS 0.14%) on the dip, neither has a very good long-term history of shareholder returns.
