Ford Motor Company's (F 0.69%) board of directors have decided to keep its third quarter dividend at the same level paid in the first and second quarters of the year, the company announced today.

The declared dividend will be $0.10 for each outstanding Class B and common stock share. That is double what it was for the third quarter of 2012.

In June, Ford saw its U.S. sales rise 13% over a year ago, the best June sales since 2006, according to a Ford announcement earlier this month. June sales were driven by sales of its F-series truck, up 24% over the previous month, the 23rd consecutive monthly sales increase.

Over all, cars were up 12%, SUVs up 8%, and trucks up 20%.

The dividend will be disbursed on Sept. 3 for shareholders of record on Aug. 2, 2013.
