What is Chase Dining?
Chase introduced its new online platform Chase Dining in October 2020. This portal gives Chase cardmembers access to unique restaurant and culinary experiences, the ability to make reservations and order takeout food, and the ability to redeem points towards their purchases. This platform can be accessed online or through the Chase mobile app.
Earn 10 points per $1
Through June 30, 2021, Chase Sapphire cardmembers can make reservations or order takeout through Chase Dining and earn 10 points per $1. To qualify for this promo, users must pay for their purchase through the Chase Dining portal. Additionally, the promotion is capped at $500 in total spending.
How does it work?
A limited number of restaurants are listed within Chase Dining. Bigger cities may have more options than more rural areas. You can perform a search to find restaurants near you. All you have to do is browse and make reservations or order takeout. If you're making reservations, you may notice that some restaurants allow you to make reservations for special menu offerings. For example, you may see a three-course meal listed, and the restaurant may list a per-person rate. Be sure to pay within the portal to earn your Chase Ultimate Rewards points.
How many points can you earn?
The maximum spend for this promotion is $500. If you go ahead and spend the full $500 allowed within Chase Dining, that will earn you 5,000 points. That's a big difference when comparing the normal earning rate for Chase Sapphire cards. Normally, you'd earn 1,000 points on $500 in dining with the Chase Sapphire Preferred® Card and 1,500 points on $500 in dining with the Chase Sapphire Reserve®.
