Best Business Credit Cards for Travel of 2025

Review Updated
Joel O'Leary
Many or all of the products here are from our partners that compensate us. It’s how we make money. But our editorial integrity ensures that our product ratings are not influenced by compensation.

I've opened a handful of business credit cards over the years, and let me tell you, they all come with their own set of perks.

But my favorite benefits are travel rewards. There's something incredibly satisfying about booking a flight or relaxing in an airport lounge knowing your business spending earned it.

If you're looking to turn work expenses into well-earned travel upgrades, here are the best business credit cards to make it happen.

  • Our team of experts reviewed over 260 credit cards
  • We evaluate all credit cards across the same 4 key criteria: value, welcome experience, fees, and perks
  • Our credit card ratings are never influenced by our advertising partners
  • If we wouldn't recommend an offer to a close family member, we won't recommend it to you

Our aim is to maintain a balanced best-of list featuring top-scoring credit cards from reputable brands. 'Best for' category selections on this page are determined by our editors, and a single card may be recognized in multiple categories.

But what sets this card apart is the extensive list of travel benefits, including airport lounge access, annual travel credits, and a credit toward TSA PreCheck/Global Entry fee reimbursement. Why we love it:

This is the card to beat when it comes to luxury travel. If you fly often and want the red-carpet experience, the perks here can far outweigh the steep fee. Why we love it:

Think of this card as the business cousin to the Chase Sapphire Reserve® (see rates and fees). It's newly launched and is packed with over $2,500 in annual value. Most of the travel credits and benefits fit a higher end travel profile, along with 8x points on Chase Travel℠ for airline tickets, hotels, including The Edit℠, car rentals, cruises, activities and tours.

Beware this card sports a massive $795 annual fee. But if you and your business can make the most of even half the reward credits, it's easily justified!

How to choose the best business travel card

When picking a travel card for your business, start with how your business spends. This helps narrow which rewards system or program best fits you.

Here are some areas to consider when evaluating cards.

Business spending habits

Do you have large monthly expenses? Cards with high flat-rate rewards might pay off the best. Also, you'll likely be able to qualify for large welcome bonuses.

Do you travel often for business? Prioritize cards with lounge access, airline credits, and travel insurance.

Rewards flexibility

It's not much help earning miles for an airline that you barely fly… The goal is to earn rewards that you'll actually use!

If you fly one airline regularly, a cobranded card (like Delta or United) can offer upgrades and freebies.

If you value flexibility, maybe a general travel card is best as they let you book through any portal or transfer points.

Fees vs. credits and perks

Premium cards can come with $395+ fees. But some include hundreds in travel credits that quickly offset the cost.

If you're looking at a card with a mammoth fee, scrutinize all the perks in detail to make sure you can realistically get all the value out of them.

If you travel less often, a no-fee card with solid flat-rate rewards might be more valuable.

Business travel credit cards vs. personal travel cards

You might be wondering, "can't I just use my personal travel card for business?"

You certainly can… but here's why a business card might be better:

  • Separation of expenses: Makes bookkeeping and taxes easier.
  • Higher limits: Designed to support business cash flow.
  • Employee cards: Add team members for free and earn rewards on their spending.
  • Business-specific perks: Premium support, expense management tools, and bonus categories aligned with business spending.

If you're a freelancer or side hustler, you still likely qualify for a business credit card -- even without a registered LLC.

  • Absolutely. And I did this myself! As long as you have income from self-employment, freelance work, or any business activity, you may qualify. Just input your SSN wherever it asks for an EIN.
