Wells Fargo Signify Business Cash® Card Review: 2% Unlimited Cash Rewards and No Annual Fee

Review Updated
Joel O'Leary
Many or all of the products here are from our partners that compensate us. It’s how we make money. But our editorial integrity ensures that our product ratings are not influenced by compensation.

Honestly, I wish this card was available back when I was running my small business. The Wells Fargo Signify Business Cash® Card (rates and fees) offers unlimited 2% cash rewards, charges no annual fee, and even includes a generous welcome bonus if you meet the early spend threshold.

My team and I review and test all kinds of business credit cards. Here's our honest review on how this one stacks up.

4.70/5 Circle with letter I in it. Our ratings are based on a 5 star scale. 5 stars equals Best. 4 stars equals Excellent. 3 stars equals Good. 2 stars equals Fair. 1 star equals Poor. We want your money to work harder for you. Which is why our ratings are biased toward offers that deliver versatility while cutting out-of-pocket costs.

At Motley Fool Money, every credit card we review is rated on a 5-star scale, scored to a tenth of a point. Our ratings weigh the features that matter most: rewards rates, 0% intro APR offers, welcome bonuses, fees, and perks like travel credits and purchase protections.

We score cards within four primary categories:

  • 0% intro APR cards for paying down balances or financing purchases
  • Travel cards for maximizing points, miles, and perks on the road
  • Cash back and rewards cards for everyday spending value
  • Business cards designed to fit company expenses and growth

Top-rated cards typically combine strong long-term value, attainable bonuses, low fees, and standout protections or perks.

We combine these factors with an evaluation of brand reputation and customer satisfaction to ensure you're getting the best credit card recommendations. Our aim is to maintain a balanced best-of list featuring top-scoring credit cards from reputable brands. 'Best for' category selections on this page are determined by our editors, and a single card may be recognized in multiple categories.

Ordering within lists is influenced by advertiser compensation, including featured placements at the top of a given list, but our product recommendations are NEVER influenced by advertisers. Learn more about how Motley Fool Money rates credit cards.

What I like about the Wells Fargo Signify Business Cash® Card

I'm always drawn to business cards that keep things simple, because running a business is already a grind. Nobody wants a credit card that adds complexity or makes you work hard to squeeze the value out.

To me, the best business cards follow one rule: low effort + high value. That's exactly what this card brings to the table. Here's what I love about it.

Unlimited 2% cash rewards on everything

This card has a rewards program you never have to really think about. Every time you buy something for your business, no matter what or where, you'll automatically earn unlimited 2% cash rewards.

While some business cards have a higher rate on bonus categories (like travel or office supplies), they usually pay a paltry rate on other "regular spending" outside of that. That's where flat-rate cards shine. They are perfect for businesses with all different types of spending.

There's no spending cap either. If your business spends around $2,500 a month, that adds up to about $600 in cash rewards in a year. At $5,000 per month spending, you're looking at $1,200 cash rewards.

$0 annual fee

Not all annual fees are bad. But honestly, it's just nice when a card doesn't charge one at all.

You can use the card freely without feeling like you have to "earn it back" every year.

Very generous welcome offer

Here is the current welcome offer: Earn a $500 cash rewards bonus when you spend $5,000 in purchases for your business in the first 3 months.

That's not only a very achievable goal for most businesses, but the $500 cash rewards bonus is quite high for a no-annual-fee card.

Intro APR offer

Sometimes you just need a little runway -- whether it's getting your business off the ground or smoothing out cash flow between invoices.

The Wells Fargo Signify Business Cash® Card offers 0% intro APR for 12 months from account opening on purchases. (After that you'll have a 16.74% - 24.74% Variable APR.)

Not every business needs it, but it's good to have the option if timing gets tight.

Downsides you should consider

While this card is great for the everyday business stuff, there are a couple areas where it might come up short for your specific situation.

Travel perks are light

The Wells Fargo Signify Business Cash® Card includes a Priority Pass membership, but it's just the basic level where you'll still have to pay a fee every time you use an airport lounge.

I honestly don't feel this "pay-as-you-go" model is much of a travel perk unless you're already planning to buy lounge access.

There are a couple of basic travel insurances included, like rental coverage and accident protection. But they're pretty light compared to what you get with a travel-focused business card.

Also this card does charge foreign transaction fees. So it's not the best for using abroad.

All in all, if you travel a lot for work, you'll likely get more value from a business credit card that's built specifically for travel.

No bonus categories or business-specific tools

While the flat 2% cash rewards is great for simplicity, any businesses with heavy spending in a very specific category (like office supplies, advertising, or dining out) might earn more with a category-based card.

The Wells Fargo Signify Business Cash® Card doesn't offer any tailored rewards, and it lacks deeper business tools or analytics you may find with other small business credit cards.

Is the Wells Fargo Signify Business Cash® Card worth it?

In my opinion, yes! In fact, most of the Wells Fargo credit cards my team reviews have high value and low cost.

The Wells Fargo Signify Business Cash® Card has a $0 annual fee and offers unlimited 2% cash rewards on every purchase. That's way higher than the standard rewards rate for general spending on similar no-annual-fee business cards.

Plus the welcome offer is both high and quite easy to earn. This card is a great fit for both new and well established businesses alike.

How to apply for the Wells Fargo Signify Business Cash® Card

Applying is pretty straightforward, and the whole process probably takes about five to 10 minutes. Here's what to expect:

  • Click here to access the online application.
  • Have your business details ready, including your legal business name, tax ID (or Social Security number for sole proprietors), estimated revenue, and industry type.
  • Be honest and double-check that all your information is accurate. Mistakes can cause delays in getting approved.
  • Add employee cards during the process if you want your team to earn rewards too.

If and when you're approved, you'll receive your card by mail and can start earning rewards on purchases right away.

Don't forget to route all your business spending through the card as soon as possible -- you'll want to earn that welcome offer with the minimum required spend!

Final thoughts

The Wells Fargo Signify Business Cash® Card is one of the best no-annual-fee business cards out there for 2026. Between the flat 2% cash rewards, easy-to-reach welcome bonus, and intro APR offer on new purchases, it's built for small business owners who want simplicity and predictable value.

If you've been waiting for the right moment to open a new business card, this one might be it.
