The Wells Fargo Reflect® Card (rates and fees) is one of the best cards you can get for paying down debt or financing a big purchase interest-free. It carries one of the longest 0% intro APR periods on the market, plus a $0 annual fee.
The catch: once that intro APR window closes, the Wells Fargo Reflect® Card earns no rewards and hands you no ongoing perks. So it's not a great long-term keeper.
If your only goal is to stop interest cold, the Wells Fargo Reflect® Card is hard to beat. Here's my honest review.

This no-frills card is a solid choice if your priority is to avoid credit card interest for as long as possible. It offers an incredible 0% intro APR for 21 months from account opening on purchases and qualifying balance transfers (17.49%, 23.99%, or 28.24% Variable APR after). The balance transfer fee (5%; $5 min.) is higher than some cards, but if you want an equally long intro APR on purchases and balance transfers, this card is hard to beat.
These cards are designed for people looking to pay off a large purchase or transfer a balance — so our ratings emphasize interest-free periods, fee structures, and how much time you really get to pay things down.

The Wells Fargo Reflect® Card is best for people carrying high-interest debt or planning a large purchase they want to spread out over time.
You get nearly two years of breathing room with no interest, which can save a lot of money while you pay things off.
If you're looking for cash back or travel rewards, this is not the card for you. The Wells Fargo Reflect® Card has no rewards program and no welcome bonus. It loses most of its value the moment the intro period ends.
The Wells Fargo Reflect® Card's headline feature is 0% intro APR for 21 months from account opening on purchases and qualifying balance transfers. (A 17.49%, 23.99%, or 28.24% Variable APR applies after.)
That's one of the longest 0% APR periods you'll find anywhere -- which is why it earned Motley Fool Money's award for Best 0% Intro APR Card of 2026.
This long intro APR is particularly handy for large balances (think anything $5,000+). The longer the promo window, the less you need to pay each month to clear your balance while paying no interest.
The Wells Fargo Reflect® Card charges no annual fee, so it costs nothing to keep in your wallet. For anyone building credit history -- or, like me, holding onto a top credit card for the long haul -- that's a real plus.
Keeping the card open can help your credit score by lengthening your average credit history over time.
The Wells Fargo Reflect® Card includes cellphone protection when you pay your monthly phone bill with the card. It covers up to $600 per claim for theft or damage, with a $25 deductible, and you can file up to two claims per 12-month period.
I've never had to use cellphone insurance, but as a frequent phone-dropper and generally clumsy person, I've always loved having it in my back pocket.
We recommend comparing options to ensure the card you're selecting is the best fit for you. To make your search easier, here's a short list of standout credit cards.

The Wells Fargo Reflect® Card earns no rewards. If you want a card with long-term perks like cash back or travel points, this isn't it.
A strong alternative is the Wells Fargo Active Cash® Card (rates and fees), which earns a flat 2% cash rewards on purchases for a $0 annual fee. It's our Best Overall Credit Card of 2026, and a fan favorite for flat-rate rewards.
The Wells Fargo Reflect® Card charges a balance transfer fee of 5%, min: $5 -- this is on the high side for a balance transfer card.
If you move a $10,000 balance, you'd owe a $500 fee, even though you'd pay the balance off at 0% during the intro period.
Run the math before you transfer, because the fee should cost less than the interest you'd otherwise pay. If you won't clear the balance within the 0% APR period, then an alternative balance transfer card with a lower transfer fee may serve you better.
The Wells Fargo Reflect® Card charges a 3% foreign transaction fee, so you'll pay extra on purchases made outside the U.S. If you travel abroad and want to skip that cost, consider one of our favorite travel credit cards.
It also has no purchase protection or extended warranty on purchases.
You'll generally need good to excellent credit (Motley Fool Money estimates this to be a FICO® Score of about 670 or higher) to qualify for the Wells Fargo Reflect® Card. Wells Fargo doesn't publish an official cutoff, and applicants closer to 700 tend to be the best-qualified candidates.
Keep in mind, your score isn't the only factor. Wells Fargo also weighs your income, existing debt, and overall credit history. You can check for pre-selected offers on Wells Fargo's site without a hard inquiry to gauge your chances first.
The Wells Fargo Reflect® Card comes with a minimum credit limit of $1,000, and higher scores and income generally earn higher limits. Wells Fargo sets your limit individually based on your full credit profile, so two applicants can get very different lines of credit.
Your starting limit isn't permanent, though. Once your account is open and in good standing, usually after six to 12 months, you can request an increase. Or, Wells Fargo may raise it automatically for on-time payments and low utilization.
To get the 0% intro APR for 21 months from account opening on qualifying balance transfers (then 17.49%, 23.99%, or 28.24% Variable APR), you must complete qualifying transfers within 120 days of opening your account.
I recommend starting the transfer online or by phone as soon as you're approved. Having your old account details ready speeds things up.
One important note: you can't transfer a balance from another Wells Fargo or affiliated card. Transfers have to come from a different issuer, and the 5%, min: $5 transfer fee applies to each one.
Applying for the Wells Fargo Reflect® Card is quick. Here's what to do:
Approvals are usually instant, but can take a few days if Wells Fargo needs to verify some of your information.
Yes, the Wells Fargo Reflect® Card is worth it if your priority is paying off debt or financing a large purchase without interest. Very few cards give you a long no-interest runway like this.
It's not worth it if you want rewards or perks after the intro period, since it offers neither.
Ready to make a dent in your debt? Apply for the Wells Fargo Reflect® Card today -- awarded Motley Fool Money's Best 0% Intro APR Card of 2026.
When the 0% intro APR period ends, any remaining balance starts accruing interest at your regular variable APR from that point forward. The Wells Fargo Reflect® Card doesn't charge deferred or retroactive interest, so you only pay on what's left -- not on the full original balance.
No, the 0% intro APR does not cover cash advances. Cash advances start accruing interest immediately at a separate, higher APR and come with their own fee. The intro offer only applies to purchases and qualifying balance transfers.
Keeping the card open is usually the better move, even after your balance hits $0. If it has no annual fee, it costs nothing to hold, and the open account helps your credit score by supporting your total available credit and length of history.
