Recent reports show that Google has designed chips much better than Nvidia's GPUs.

Alphabet (GOOGL 1.08%) (GOOG 1.06%) recently released a report showcasing the strength of its TPU v4, a supercomputer made using Google's accelerators. One of the selling points is that this supercomputer is faster and more energy-efficient than it would be if it were using Nvidia's (NVDA -1.99%) accelerators.
