Earn $200 Back After Spending $1,000 With This Credit Card
KEY POINTS
- The Wells Fargo Autograph® Card has one of the best and easiest-to-get welcome bonuses among no annual fee credit cards.
- It also has one of the best rewards programs, with lots of bonus categories and transferable points.
The Wells Fargo Autograph® Card (see rates and fees) is a relatively new credit card product. It has rapidly gained popularity, and for good reason. The card has an excellent rewards program, a $0 annual fee, and other excellent perks.
In addition to the ongoing perks, the Wells Fargo Autograph® Card also has an excellent welcome bonus. Here are the details of how much you could get for signing up, and why this could be a good credit card to add to your wallet.
The Wells Fargo Autograph Card's welcome offer
The Wells Fargo Autograph® Card has a welcome offer of 20,000 bonus points after spending just $1,000 in the first 3 months. These points have a cash redemption value of $200.
There are a few important things to mention:
- This is one of the best welcome bonuses from any no annual fee credit card on our radar.
- A $1,000 spending threshold to receive a welcome bonus is on the lower end of the spectrum.
- Points can be transferred to several airline and hotel partners, where it's possible to get significantly more than $0.01 in value per point, depending on how you end up redeeming them.
- In addition to the welcome offer, it's worth noting that new cardholders get 0% intro APR for 12 months from account opening.

A solid rewards program
In addition to an excellent welcome bonus, the Wells Fargo Autograph® Card has one of the best rewards programs we've seen from a no annual fee credit card.
While its base earnings rate is 1X points per $1 spent, it has a lot of bonus earning potential. Specifically, the Autograph card earns 3X points per $1 spent on restaurants, travel, gas stations, transit, popular streaming services and phone plans.
Also keep in mind that you can transfer points to airline and hotel partners, so your 3X points per $1 rewards rate could certainly end up being far better than a 3X cash rewards rate.
Valuable perks
Of course, a no annual fee credit card isn't going to have quite as many perks as an expensive travel credit card. But compared to its competitors, the Autograph card has some valuable and unique perks.
For example, its cellphone protection is one of the best in the industry. It covers up to $600 per claim for damage, theft, and loss, and allows up to two claims per 12-month period when you use the Autograph card to pay your bill. The $25 deductible is the real standout perk, as it is significantly lower than many competing cards.
The Autograph card also has no foreign transaction fees, auto rental collision damage coverage, and access to Visa Signature® perks such as the free 24/7 Visa Signature® Concierge service.
Is the Autograph card right for you?
There's no perfect credit card for everyone. But the Wells Fargo Autograph® Card is an extremely solid product, especially for a credit card with no annual fee. Its transferable rewards points and superior cellphone insurance make it worth a closer look, and the easy-to-earn welcome bonus adds to the appeal.
