Airport lounges can provide a much-needed escape from the busy public areas of the airport. Chase Sapphire Reserve® credit cardholders will soon have a new airport lounge to visit when transiting through Boston Logan International Airport. The Chase Sapphire Lounge by The Club will open on May 16, making it the first location in the United States. Travelers can expect an upgraded airport lounge experience. 

Introducing the Chase Sapphire Lounge by The Club

In 2021, JPMorgan Chase announced its plans to open the Chase Sapphire Lounge by The Club. In a news release, the company explained that this lounge experience is another step in its commitment to providing elevated value and experiences throughout the travel journey. 

In 2022, JPMorgan Chase opened its first Chase Sapphire Lounge by The Club location at the Hong Kong International Airport. On Tuesday, May 16, 2023, a second airport lounge location will open at Boston Logan International Airport. There are plans to open additional lounges in New York, Las Vegas, Philadelphia, Phoenix, and San Diego.

What to expect from your airport lounge experience 

Travelers are welcome to visit the brand-new Sapphire Lounge by The Club in Boston beginning at 5 a.m. EDT on Tuesday, May 16. The lounge is located near gate B40 and will be open daily from 5 a.m. to 11 p.m. EDT. 

The new space will include touches highlighting Boston's history and identity and will overlook the Boston Logan Airfield and the Boston Harbor. It will feature art, including Boston-inspired designs from local artist Silvia López Chavez. 

The Sapphire Lounge by The Club in Boston will feature food offerings from local acclaimed chef Douglass Williams. A signature taproom with local craft beer and coffee from Beverly, Massachusetts' Atomic Coffee Roasters will be available. There will be a bar serving wine and cocktails, and both made-to-order and ready-to-eat food options will be available all day. 

The spacious lounge will offer areas for recharging and working. This includes two wellness rooms with anti-gravity massage chairs and guided meditations, a private nursing suite, two dual-head shower rooms, and all-gender restrooms with Apotheke products. Travelers can stay connected with the included complimentary, high-speed wifi. 

How to visit the Chase Sapphire Lounge by The Club 

Those with a Chase Sapphire Reserve® credit card can access Chase Sapphire Lounge by The Club locations free of charge, along with up to two free guests. With the addition of these brand-new airport lounges, cardholders can get even more value from their card benefits. 

Priority Pass members without a Chase Sapphire Reserve® credit card can enter a Chase Sapphire Lounge by The Club location once per calendar year at no cost. However, an entry fee for each subsequent visit to any Chase Sapphire Lounge by The Club location will apply. 

Airport lounge access is a valuable perk for frequent travelers 

In addition to getting free entry to Chase Sapphire Lounge by The Club locations, Chase Sapphire Reserve® credit cardholders will continue to receive a complimentary Priority Pass™ Select membership as a card perk. Cardholders can also bring two guests for free. 

Free access to airport lounges can be a win for your wallet, especially considering the high price of food and drinks sold at airports. Since most Priority Pass airport lounges offer free food and beverages, including alcoholic drinks, you can skip the expensive airport bar so you have more money left in your vacation budget to cover your trip costs.
