NiSource (NI 0.47%) has kept its quarterly dividend level by declaring the same amount as its most recent disbursements. The company will hand out $0.24 per share of its common stock on May 20 to shareholders of record as of April 30. This keeps the distribution in line with the natural gas and electricity company's recent dividend policy -- it has paid that amount in each of its last three quarters.
Before that, NiSource had disbursed $0.23 per share consistently since late 2003.
The company's current dividend annualizes to $0.96 per share, which yields 3.4% at NiSource's current stock price of $28.63.
