NEW YORK (AP) -- Commodities prices are ending mixed. Crude oil climbed, but precious metals slipped.

Traders are waiting for more information about the U.S. economy. Major corporate earnings reports start to flow in this week, and on Wednesday the Federal Reserve will release minutes from its latest policy meeting.

Gold and silver fell. Copper, palladium, and platinum rose. Oil and wholesale gasoline rose, while natural gas fell.

Corn, wheat, and soybeans also rose. Corn prices have been down because a government report at the end of March said that corn supplies could be higher than expected.
