Home Depot (NYSE:HD) reported higher-than-expected first-quarter earnings. Same-store sales were up more than 4% and the stock hit an all-time high. Competitor Lowe's (NYSE:LOW) also reported a rise in first-quarter earnings but same-store sales fell slightly. Shares of Lowe's also hit an all-time high.
