Life sciences real estate operator BioMed Realty Trust (NYSE: BMR) announced yesterday its second-quarter dividend of $0.235 per share, the same rate it's paid for the past two quarters after raising the payout 9% from $0.215 per share.
The board of directors said the quarterly dividend is payable on July 15 to the holders of record at the close of business on June 28. The real estate provider has made quarterly payouts to investors since 2004. The regular dividend payment equates to a $0.94-per-share annual dividend, yielding 4.6% based on the closing price of BioMed Realty Trust's stock on June 17.
