Financial services holding company Susquehanna Bancshares (NASDAQ: SUSQ) announced yesterday its third-quarter dividend of $0.08 per share, the same rate it paid last quarter after raising the payout 14%, from $0.07 per share.
The board of directors said the quarterly dividend is payable on Aug. 20 to the holders of record at the close of business on July 31. The financial services specialist has made quarterly payouts to investors since 1983.
The regular dividend payment equates to a $0.32-per-share annual dividend, yielding 2.4% based on the closing price of Susquehanna Bancshares' stock on July 17.
