Chinese industrial engine maker China Yuchai (NYSE:CYD) announced today its interim dividend of $0.10 per share for its 2013 fiscal year. In June, the engine maker had declared that the full-year dividend for 2012 would be $0.40 per share, which was 20% less than the $0.50 per share it paid the year before. China Yuchai also declared a $0.40-per-share special dividend at the same time.
The board of directors said the quarterly dividend is payable on August 26 to holders of record at the close of business on August 16. The regular dividend payment equates to a $0.40-per-share annual dividend, yielding 2.1% based on the closing price today of China Yuchai's stock.
