Containerboard and corrugated packaging manufacturer Packaging Corp. of America (PKG 1.78%) announced today its third-quarter dividend of $0.40 per share, the same rate it paid last quarter after hiking the payout to investors 28% from $0.3125 per share.
The board of directors said the quarterly dividend is payable on October 15 to holders of record at the close of business on September 13. The regular dividend payment equates to a $1.60-per-share annual dividend, yielding 3% based on the closing price today of Packaging Corp. of America's stock.
