Death-care specialist Stewart Enterprises (NASDAQ: STEI) announced today its third-quarter dividend of $0.045 per share on its Class A and Class B stock, the same rate it's paid for the past two quarters after raising the payout 12.5% from $0.04 per share.
The board of directors said the quarterly dividend is payable on Oct. 30 to the holders of record at the close of business on Oct. 16. The regular dividend payment equates to a $0.18-per-share annual dividend, yielding 1.4% based on the closing price today of Stewart Enterprises' stock.
