Specialty REIT EPR Properties (EPR -0.32%) announced today its October dividend of $0.2633 per share, the same rate it's paid for the past six months after it switched to a monthly payout schedule. It previously paid dividends quarterly, the last of which was $0.79 per share. The REIT has made payouts to investors since 1997.
The board of directors said the quarterly dividend is payable on Nov. 15 to the holders of record at the close of business on Oct. 31. The regular dividend payment equates to a $3.16-per-share annual dividend, yielding 6.4% based on the closing price today of EPR Properties' stock.
