Consumer Countdown for Tuesday, Oct. 22

The Consumer Goods team takes a look at all the big news in their sector.

In today's Consumer Countdown, host Mark Reeth chats with Motley Fool consumer goods analysts Michael Finarelli and Sean O'Reilly about all the biggest news in their sector from the past few days. Today, they start by taking a look at some of the companies that reported earnings this morning, including Coach (COH 0.40%), Kimberly-Clark (KMB +1.04%), RadioShack (RSH +0.00%) and Whirlpool (WHR +0.73%).

Then, they review some of the big announcements from earlier this week, including Netflix's (NFLX +1.15%) stellar earnings, what's keeping McDonald's (MCD +0.75%) down, and how Hasbro (HAS 1.80%) is doing.

After that, it's a quick round of Buy, Sell, or Hold with a focus on Gannett (GCI +0.00%) and Sonic (SONC +0.00%). Then, to wrap things up, Mike and Sean let you know why they're keeping a close eye on Panera (PNRA +0.00%) and Sirius (SIRI +0.00%).
