J.C. Penney (JCPN.Q) released its quarterly results after market close yesterday, and it seems the retail company isn't dead yet.

Today on Investor Beat, Chris Hill and Motley Fool analyst Ron Gross dig into today's big mover, J.C. Penney. Chris outlines a few features of the department store chain's latest quarterly reports; with same-store sales up more than 6%, the numbers are much better than expected. Ron, however, says he wouldn't buy shares just yet, as he believes the company's recovery still has a long way to go.
