Its stock is down 50% year to date, as the company prepares to announce earnings after the bell on Wednesday. ExOne has missed earnings expectations every single quarter since going public in 2013.
According to Blake, shifting to a new strategy will take time and money, which makes him wary of any investment in the company today.
